Inspiring a Life-Long Love of Learning

Playhouse Preschool utilizes Montessori and traditional preschool teaching methods, offering a healthy balance of structured learning and free play within a friendly, positive, and stimulating environment. Montessori was a key component in our unique blend of creativity-inspired learning and childcare. We initially opened a dedicated Montessori classroom for pre-school children. Such was its popularity, as well as the many benefits for the children in those rooms, we took the decision to roll out much of the Montessori philosophy across the center. Our Early Years Learning program prepares children for their next big step in early education by supporting development in independent life skills, as well as basic and advanced level academics.

With low child/teacher ratios, there is an abundance of love and attention for each individual child. We provide a safe, calm, and secure environment that encourages individual expression and builds self-esteem. We also hold a fundamental belief about the importance of education and its ability to nurture the development of intelligence through a unique curriculum encompassing music, the arts, science, technology, literacy, numeracy, and physical exploration. Most importantly, our students develop self-confidence and an understanding of their needs, who they are and how to become respectful, compassionate and responsible members of society.

Our aim is to always ensure children are cared for to the highest standards and that the learning we provide is of the highest quality, as we are the key to unlocking these children’s futures. We have a passion for excellence and innovation at Playhouse, as we have been operating for over 50 years with collective experience in establishing childcare tailored to the individual needs, talents, abilities, and interests of each child.
